IARU Region 1 Field Day SSB contest

The IARU Region 1 Field Day SSB contest is over for the RigExpert team, which operated as UT4UWJ/p in the Multi-Op / Portable category from QTH grid KO50AK. 

While the equipment and antenna are being dismantled, let’s summarize.

Our team has exactly 200 QSOs in the log. 

We spent a wonderful weekend with our colleagues and families, as well as improved our professional skills. For example, our CEO Ashot Andrieiev spent at least 4 hours at the transceiver in total and made about 20 QSOs, Dmitry Marievsky UX3UU, a technical support engineer, turned out to be the most diligent, keeping watch behind the transceiver in the coldest time of the day and even won a prize for the anniversary 100th QSO. 

Despite the small number of QSOs, we are glad that the call sign of our Club station sounded on the Air all this time!
